Frequently asked questions
- Is Reverse Text free to use?
- Yes. Reverse Text is available on the free plan with 20 daily runs. Paid plans add higher quotas for repeat work.
- Is reversed text a way to hide information?
- No - it takes one step to reverse it back, so it conceals nothing from anyone who tries. Never use it for passwords, personal data or anything confidential.
- Why do accents, flags and emoji look broken after reversing?
- Reversal works one character at a time and some characters are built from several code points. A letter with an accent, a flag or an emoji with a skin tone can be taken apart and reassembled wrongly, so check those by hand.
- What is the difference between characters, words and lines?
- Character mode flips the whole string, word mode keeps each word whole and reverses their order, and line mode reverses which line comes first. Choose the mode before pasting, because the results differ.
- Why did my spacing change after reversing words?
- Word mode splits on whitespace and rejoins with single spaces, so double spaces, tabs and line breaks inside the selection collapse. Reverse characters instead if the exact spacing has to survive.
