Base64 Encoder Online

将文本或数据片段编码为 Base64。

What this Developer tool does

将文本或数据片段编码为 Base64。 It helps developers format, validate, encode, decode, inspect, generate, or debug small pieces of technical data.

Base64 Encoder helps with developer work directly in the browser. Use it for fast formatting, encoding, decoding, hashing, validation, and debugging tasks.

How to use Base64 Encoder

  1. Open the live tool at /tools/base64-encoder.
  2. Paste the relevant code, token, JSON, CSV, URL, color, cron expression, regex pattern, or technical text into the input field.
  3. Run Base64 Encoder and check the generated result before using it in production work.

Best use cases for Base64 Encoder

  • Debug API responses, configuration snippets, tokens, and structured data.
  • Prepare clean output for documentation, tickets, tests, or code review.
  • Avoid opening heavy desktop tools for quick developer checks.

Examples and checks for Base64 Encoder

Example inputs

  • A small API response
  • A config snippet
  • A test token or encoded value

Common mistakes to avoid

  • Pasting production secrets
  • Using malformed source data
  • Skipping validation before copying output

Output checklist

  • Confirm syntax is valid
  • Review escaping and special characters
  • Test the result in your target system

Use test data where possible and avoid live credentials, private keys, passwords, or production tokens.

Base64 Encoder inputs

Paste the relevant code, token, JSON, CSV, URL, color, cron expression, regex pattern, or technical text into the input field.

Base64 Encoder output

The result is formatted, validated, decoded, encoded, generated, or explained output ready to copy into a development workflow.

Review before publishing

Do not paste production secrets, private keys, or sensitive credentials into any online utility unless you understand the risk.

Free usage limits and upgrades

The current free plan allows 20 daily runs. Pro allows 500 daily runs, and Business allows 3000 daily runs for heavier repeat work.

  • Base64 Encoder input workspace
  • Base64 Encoder result preview
  • Copy or download ready output
  • Free daily runs with paid upgrade limits

Compare Free, Pro, and Business plans for higher daily limits, larger uploads, longer file history, and repeat workflows.

Frequently asked questions

Is Base64 Encoder free to use?
Yes. Base64 Encoder is available on the free plan with 20 daily runs. Paid plans add higher quotas for repeat work.
Does Base64 encoding protect my data?
No. It is a reversible transport encoding, not encryption, so anyone can decode it back to the original text. Never encode a password or API key with Base64 and treat it as hidden.
How much larger does Base64 make my text?
About a third larger — every three bytes of input become four output characters, so 3 KB of data turns into roughly 4 KB. That overhead is the price of turning arbitrary bytes into safe printable ASCII.
Why does my Base64 string end with = signs?
They are padding: the alphabet works in blocks of four, so = fills the final block when the input length is not divisible by three. One = means two leftover bytes, two = means one.
Do line endings change the encoded output?
Yes. Base64 encodes the exact bytes you paste, so a trailing newline, a tab, or Windows-style CRLF endings all produce a different result. If two systems disagree about the same value, compare the raw bytes first.
