Why does a rotated page look wrong after saving?
Rotation is stored on the page rather than baked into its content, and this tool adds to the rotation a page already carries. A page that was already turned 90 degrees becomes 180 when you ask for 90, so try the opposite angle.
Can I rotate only some pages?
Yes. Leave the page range empty to turn every page, or enter a range such as 3-7 or a list such as 2,5,9 to limit the change to those pages.
Does rotating a PDF re-encode the images inside it?
No. Only the page orientation is updated, so text stays selectable, images keep their original resolution and the file size barely moves.
Can it straighten a crooked scan?
No - pages turn in 90 degree steps only. A scan that is tilted by a few degrees needs deskewing in the scanner software or an image editor before it becomes a PDF.
